Shipping Policy for Artwork (according to 2024 Regulations)
This policy outlines the shipping process, costs, and responsibilities for artwork shipped from Sweden to Europe, the UK, and the USA.
1. General Guidelines
All artwork will be professionally packed to ensure safe transport.
Customers are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to the shipping terms before finalizing the purchase.
Additional customs, duty, or import fees (typically €30–€100) may apply upon delivery. These fees vary by country and carrier and are the buyer’s responsibility.
2. Shipping to Europe (EU Countries)
Carrier Options: Usually DHL otherwise UPS or FedEx.
Shipping Costs: Based on artwork size, weight, and destination. Costs will be quoted at the time of purchase.
Delivery Time: Depends on workload and availability.
Customs and Duties: Customs fees & VAT may apply based on the destination country.
3. Shipping to the United Kingdom (UK)
Carrier Options: UPS, DHL, or FedEx with UK customs handling.
Shipping Costs: Determined by artwork dimensions, weight, and destination. Quoted during purchase.
Delivery Time: Depends on availability and workload.
Customs and Duties:
Since Brexit, shipments to the UK are subject to customs clearance.
Import duties and VAT are the buyer’s responsibility and will be charged upon delivery by the carrier.
4. Shipping to the United States (USA)
Carrier Options: FedEx, DHL Express, or UPS with international shipping services.
Shipping Costs: Quoted based on the artwork’s size, weight, and destination.
Delivery Time: Depends on availability and workload.
Customs and Duties:
Import duties may apply and are the buyer’s responsibility.
5. Packaging
Each artwork is packed with high-quality materials, including:
Acid-free paper wrapping.
Protective foam or bubble wrap.
Sturdy cardboard.
Fragile stickers and handling instructions will be affixed.
Fine art prints are shipped rolled in sturdy cardboard tubes with surface protection using glassine paper dividers.
6. Insurance
Full insurance coverage for shipping to US and UK is mandatory for all shipments. The insurance cost will be included in the shipping quote.
7. Tracking and Communication
A tracking number will be provided once the shipment is dispatched.
Regular updates is usually sent by carrier until delivery is confirmed.
8. Buyer Responsibilities
Provide accurate shipping information at checkout and by email to innalaart@gmail.com
Be available to receive the shipment or arrange for alternate delivery.
Cover any additional charges related to customs, duties, or failed delivery attempts.
9. Returns and Damages
Returns
All sales are final, including original artworks and exclusive stock. Returns are not accepted once an order has been dispatched.
Damages
If your order is damaged in transit, contact jeanetteinnala@outlook.com within 24 hours of delivery. Provide the following:
1. A photo of the damaged product.
2. Photos of the interior packaging and delivery box.
Returns are accepted only for damaged artwork.
Notify within 48 hours of receiving a damaged item.
Provide photographic evidence to initiate an insurance claim and arrange for a return.
Important
Minor imperfections are part of the handmade process and do not qualify for replacements.
10. Sustainability Efforts
Eco-friendly materials will be prioritized for packaging whenever possible.
Local carriers may be used to reduce the carbon footprint.
11. Privacy & Security
Your personal information is kept private and secure. Details are never sold, shared, or swapped with third parties.
